Rodney Wright joins FWAS as New Executive Officer
I have over 40 years of experience in sports participation, coaching and development. In 2005, I moved to Australia and in 2008 starte Wright Time Fitness (WTF) to begin working Australian athletes in Far North Queensland. I’ve coached and managed 1000s of young athletes in the US and Australia and have been an effective leader in local council Sports and Recreation Management in rural and remote communities of Far North Queensland over the last 5 years.
While attending a post graduate program in Sports Administration at ACPE, I applied for and was offered the Executive Officer position at FWAS by the Board of Directors in April 2015. I am proud to be a part of this wonderful academy and look forwards to continuing to create unique opportunities for young talented athletes in the Far West Region of NSW.
I congratulate all of our athletes and coaches for a successful 2015 season. In 2016, we aim to continue to provide our region with the best services, programs and pathways that help make future champions on and off the fields and courts of NSW.
I thank our staff, partners and volunteers who continue to work hard to provide strong support for our young athletes in FWAS and I hope for all of your continued support in 2016.
